Every year in August, NSI distributes backpacks filled with school supplies to students in the community. They hope to be able to distribute 600+ backpacks and school supplies to children in grades K-12 this year.
Last year NCFM gathered enough to donate 11 new backpacks filled with school supplies to Operation Backpack. This year we are aiming to do at least the same for NSI’s Back to School Distribution Program. If you are interested, there are several ways to contribute:
- Bring new backpacks & school supplies to NCFM & put in the NSI collection box in foyer. (For list of supplies see poster on NSI’s website: www.nsifoodpantry.org/givehelp/)
- Donate cash, check or Venmo to Barbara who will shop on behalf of NCFM. (email ourtreachinreach@gmail.com for mailing address or Venmo account)
- Go to NSI’s Amazon Wishlist to ship donations directly to NSI; https://a.co/fANh66K
- Send a monetary donation online through NSI’s website or send a check to NSI; P.O. Box 82331 Columbus, OH 43202.
