Donate supplies or funds to purchase school supplies until July 30th
Every year in August, Neighborhood Services Inc (NSI) distributes backpacks filled with school supplies to students in the community. They hope to collect enough donations this year to be able to distribute 600+ backpacks and school supplies to children in grades K-12. North Columbus Friends Meeting has donated backpacks filled with school supplies for the past 2 years and we would like to do so again this summer. Below are 4 ways you can participate in helping NSI to reach their goal this year:
- Bring new backpacks or school supplies to the Meetinghouse and place them in the NSI donation box in the back entryway by Sunday JULY 30th or drop off donations directly at NSI by Friday August 4th (1950 N. 4th St, Columbus, 43201)
- Get in touch with Barbara by MONDAY JULY 31st via outreachinreach@gmail.com if you would like to make a financial contribution to the collective pool she uses to shop on behalf of NCFM for the backpacks & school supplies.
