How is Meeting for Worship different in different Quaker Communities?
There’s always something to learn about the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
Snacks will be served throughout for those in person. The hybrid event will start at 6:30pm and run until 8pm. There will discussion and an activity.
We welcome anyone regardless of experience with Quakerism or relationship with any branch of Quakerism. All are welcome.
No RSVP or registration is required. Bring a way to jot notes if you’d like.
If you have any questions or have accessibility needs, please e-mail Angie, the clerk of the committee at outreachinreach@gmail.com

Quakerism 101 is:
A hybrid (those at the Meetinghouse utilize a camera and microphone to interact with those online) or class that meets from September to May (skipping Dec) covering topics that are of interest to a person with any level of Quaker knowledge and experience and with any relationship with any branch of Quakerism. When hybrid, the Outreach/Inreach Committee hosts a snack table with vegetarian options (vegan available upon request) then moves into a discussion with an activity.
These classes differ from Seeking Quakers by being an open discussion with an activity. It is less “specific question” and worship sharing based. RSVP or registration are not required.
If you have any questions, would like the link to join, or have accessibility needs, please e-mail the clerk of the committee at outreachinreach@gmail.com
