February 4, 2-3:30pm, online
Join with others to listen to Spirit and reflect on our time at North Broadway United Methodist Church. Queries will be offered for this online event. We welcome input and reflections from those who have attended in person and on-line. The Ad-Hoc Committee on Relocation will facilitate the event. The facilitator will read queries aloud from a list prepared by the Ad-Hoc Committee on Relocation.
A Quaker Listening Space is an opportunity for people to come together in a facilitated space to share experiences and thoughts to better appreciate and understand a situation or topic. In a listening space we don’t make decisions, look for solutions or hold a debate.

This is our purpose here, to hear what people are thinking and feeling about this new worship space, and what it has been like to set aside worship in our historic space.
From Quaker Process for Friends on the Benches (pp175): The following ground rules have been found helpful: (1) No decision will be made in this gathering. (2) Come with a sense of humility and openness to new insights and to learn about differing experiences. (3) Listen to each person and receive their thoughts. (4) Each person has the opportunity to declare what he/she/they are thinking, feeling and perceiving. (5) Speak from personal experience.

All are welcome regardless if you’ve experienced the new space physically yet.
Please join in when you are able to and leave when you need to. Aka being late is ok and so is leaving early.
