July 27, Workday at the Meetinghouse – 9am to noon – in person at 1954 Indianola Ave in Columbus

We’re having a Work Day at the meetinghouse on Saturday, July 27 from 9 am to 12 noon!

–  Come for coffee and bagels
–  The focus of this workday will be on organizing and winnowing
–  Committees will be deciding what to toss…and tossing it in the dumpster that the City plopped in our parking lot last week (or recycling, if its paper)
–  Discerning for the remainder what needs to go into storage and what can be donated
–  We will not yet engage in large-scale boxing up or moving stuff around…that we will do after the week of showings of the meetinghouse August 5-9

Aug 11, Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business from 2-4pm, online. 

The Ad-Hoc Relocation Committee will present the best bids on the Meetinghouse to the body at large. The body at large will then discern about selecting a bid.

Aug 24, Workday at the Meetinghouse – 9am-noon – in person at 1954 Indianola Ave in Columbus

Help sort and pack items bound for storage. Items that will not be stored will be available to Friends to take/redistribute.

Sept 6, Moving Day – time to be decided – in person at 1954 Indianola Ave in Columbus 

Help move items bound for storage on and off trucks

Sept 8, Closing event at the Meetinghouse – 2 to 4pm – online and in person at 1954 Indianola Ave in Columbus

Join with others as we say our farewells and thanks to the Meetinghouse.

●  An important date for your calendar. On Sunday September 8, we are intending that Friends will meet from 2:00-4:00 for a celebration of our life in the meetinghouse. As we expect that a sale will have been completed, Friends will gather for the last time at 1954 Indianola Ave. We envision sharing memories, joys, and sorrows as well as worship sharing.
 As needed, we will support Friends wishing to attend in person who normally join us via zoom. We will make zoom available for those unable to be physically present. More details will follow as these are discerned. Friends are encouraged to contact Brian, or anyone else on the Ministry and Nurture Committee if they have any ideas or concerns.
