Food Land and Liberation Fascism and Democracy 09-12-2024

Save the date! Castanea Fellowship is beyond excited to launch “Food, Land, & Liberation”, a virtual conversation series exploring how we can continue to move toward justice and liberation in the face of uncertainty and upheaval.

In this series, we’ll dive into conversations with leaders who are all working in their own way to create the conditions for change through upending power dynamics, reshaping narratives, and creating more liberated systems. We’ll explore how power comes through bold and different ways of visioning that challenges and expands our existing assumptions and structures, and how we can build the new systems and ways of being rooted in justice and liberation.

Moderated by Dara Cooper, the first conversation is focused on Facism & Democracy – join us, along with Maurice Mitchell from Working Families Party, M. Adams from Movement for Black Lives, and Vivien Sansour with the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library, on September 12th at 3:30 pm Eastern.
