About this month’s session:
We will be discussing the effects of population changes in the world today and on human societies historically, including the role that human overpopulation may play in the development of authoritarian governments, social inequality, poverty, war and other problems inflicting human societies. We will use as our starting point comments from Russell Adam’s book Clever but not Clueless regarding Benjamin Franklin’s writings on the negative effects eventual overpopulation might have on the future of democracy in the United States.
Please feel free to join us regarding the importance of this issue.
