About this month’s session:

This month we will discuss early quaker history based on a reading, the first chapter, of the book  “The Light of their Consciences: Early Quakers in Britain, 1646 -1666” by Rosemary Moore one of the major contemporary historians of the early Friends movement.

Within the reading, which covers the earliest stirrings of Quakerism from 1646 to 1652, the period in which Quakerism was initially founded as a religious movement and some of its earliest ideas and characteristics were developed.
