2025 Helping Kids in Need Get Started!!!  June 28th – August 8th

It’s that time of year again! Operation Backpack®, a program of the Volunteers of America (VOA), that gives local area children in need new backpacks filled with school supplies to start the new school year. 

Last year, North Columbus Friends Meeting was able to donate 24 filled backpacks.

If you are interested in participating in this year’s program, below are several ways to get involved:

1.    Bring new backpacks & school supplies to Meeting For Worship on Sundays & put them in the NSI collection box. (ends Sun Aug 3rd)

2.    Donate cash, check or Venmo to Barbara, who will shop for school supplies on behalf of NCFM. (email: outreachinreach@gmail.com for Barbara’s email or venmo)

3.    Go to VOA‘s website & make a monetary donation there – (ends Fri Aug 8th)
