Dr. Harold D. Weaver is the Founder and Director of the BlackQuaker Project (BQP). Hal was introduced to the Religious Society of Friends and Quakerism at Westtown School and Haverford College. He combined his faith and political activism to produce several publications important to Quakers, including Black Fire: African American Quakers on Spirituality and Human Rights, which was published by Quakerbooks (FGC) in 2011.
