Theme: Walking in the World as a Friend
Location: Lake Hope State Park
NCFM’s Spring Retreat is an opportunity for:
- having time away from our everyday and being together in a nature-filled setting
- spending time getting to know one another better
- strengthening our sense and experience of our community
- having space for deepening our sense of Spirit within us and among us
We attempt this through a myriad of opportunities throughout the weekend, including:
- planning and preparing meals together, eating together, and even bonding over doing the dishes together
- participating in free-time activities such as hiking, board games, conversations, being out in nature, reading
- learning & growing together through small & large group activities centered on the intended theme for the retreat
- other spontaneous & organic activities which may pop up such as carpooling, conversing, going for walks, learning a new skill
