Donate school supplies and funds now until Aug 10th

It’s that time of year again! Operation Backpack®, a program of the Volunteers of America (VOA), that gives local area children in need new backpacks filled with school supplies to start the new school year. 

Last year, North Columbus Friends Meeting was able to donate over 30 filled backpacks.

If you are interested in participating in this year’s program, below are several ways to get involved:

1.    Bring new backpacks & school supplies to Meeting For Worship on Sundays & put them in the NSI collection box. (ends Sun Aug 9th)

2.    Donate cash, check or Venmo to Barbara, who will shop for school supplies on behalf of NCFM – deadline Aug 7. (email: outreachinreach@gmail.com for Barbara’s email or venmo)

3.    Go to VOA‘s website & make a monetary donation there – (ends Aug 10th)
