A lecture by Anton Flores-Maisonet on immigrant accompaniment, intentional community, and radical hospitality.
Anton Flores-Maisonet’s lecture, Love Crosses Borders, will weave stories from a twenty-five-year journey alongside immigrant communities whose resilience, faith, and struggle have reshaped his understanding of God, neighbor, and belonging. Drawing on experiences of accompaniment, intentional community, and, most recently, a six-year experiment in radical hospitality that has welcomed hundreds of migrants into a Quaker meetinghouse, he will consider how love calls us beyond the borders that divide us and into deeper practices of solidarity, faithfulness, and belonging.
